This Large Flue Inglenook Kit has been put together for the purpose of rotary power sweeping wide and tall flues. It can be complimented with your own existing SnapLok 18mm and 22mm rods or more rods can be added to this kit. The idea for using this kit is that each rod is spaced apart differently, so for every 2 x 22mm polypropylene rods, a 22mm aluminium rod is placed in between to keep the rods straight whilst spinning.
 
This system is highly efficient and it takes less than 30 seconds to connect all the double button lock rods together. This kit will go up to 8 Metres in height, but additional rods can be purchased to extend this. The Aluminum rods are pinned and whereas the Polypropylene rods are crimped to the fittings/ferrules on either end of the rod. plus the steel is heat treated for extra strength/durability and double plated for extra corrosion resistance.
 
You can also use this kit for manual chimney sweeping, by connecting the SnapLok rods to a suitable SnapLok adaptor and onto a brush if necessary. This kit comes with a RPS 24" XL Soft Mole Brush, which can only be used for the removal of light fluffy soot at slow speed to prevent damage to the brick work, mortar or pargeting.
